An evening of

(21 May 2017) International flutist, eclectic and innovative artist with an impressive curriculum of solo activity in Europe, Asia, the United States, and South America. Luisa Sello is ready to perform in the Czech Republic at a concert with the Pražák Quartet on Monday, June 5 at 7 pm in the Chamber Music room of the Prague Conservatory (Palazzo Pálffy). The evening stems from the collaboration of the Italian Institute of Culture and the Conservatory, part of the wider project "La Grande Musica" presented by the "Associazione Amici della Musica di Udine" (Friends of Music of Udine Association) presided by Luisa Sello. With an impressive solo activity, Sello was invited to numerous orchestras, she teaches flute at the Conservatory of Trieste and is a visiting Professor at University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. In 2012 she was awarded an honorary assignment by the Ambassador of the City of Udine to the world. The Pražák Quartet consists of Jana Vonášková and Vlastimil Holek (violin), Josef Klusoň (violet) and Michal Kaňka (cello). (Red)


THE REPERTOIRE


Her repertoire embraces different epochs and forms of art, through a journey she conceived as an artist, author, and director; finding unanimous consensus for "class, elegance, presence, talent, emotion." She has worked with the Orchestra of the Teatro Alla Scala of Milan under the direction of Riccardo Muti and has performed alongside Alirio Diaz, Trevor Pinnock, Edgar Guggeis, Il Nuovo Quartetto Italiano, and the Jess Trio Wien.
