Football, agreement between Figc and Libyan Federation

(September 8, 2017) Pointing to the social value of sport in favor of the normalization process in Libya, it is the polar star who led the agreement between the Italian Football Federation and the Libyan Federation, signed at Figc's  head office by the federation president Carlo Tavecchio and Libyan President Jamal Eljaafri. The initiative, which has received the consent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, can count on concrete elements such as the common historical roots,  passion and friendship that Italian football has in the North African country. The cooperation will be particularly focused on support for the training of their trainers, a key aid in a country that, for the well-known events, must start from the begininng even in sports.
