(September 14, 2017) Under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade and with the collaboration of the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade, the 16th edition of the Italian Film Fashion Festival will be inaugurated on September 16, presented in Serbia by the Association Cultural Excellence. The Festival, for the second time in Belgrade, aims at promoting Italian cinema and in particular young talents. Thanks to the collaboration with Luce / Cinecittà Institute in Rome, the Festival will focus on the first and second works of the new generation of Italian directors also presented at the Venice Biennale. Director Paolo Genovese, guest of honor of the evening with his "Perfetti Sconosciuti" (screening at 6pm on Saturday, September 16) will inaugurate the Festival and meet with the Belgrade Jugoslavian Cinematheque. The same venue will be the cornerstone of collaborations between Italy and Serbia in the field of art and fashion. On September 16 at 5 pm will be inaugurated the Contemporary Art exhibition Comparison / Poređenja, in which three Italian and three Serbian artists develop through their works the theme of dialogue and aesthetic research and the installation of Gattinoni / Todorović clothes, an original collaboration on the line of creativity and elegance. The event also includes meetings between co-production professionals, Italian and Serbian legislation on film financing, digitalisation and satellite distribution. The Festival will close with a review of Italian film dedicated to the Sixties and Seventies. (Red)
