(September 14, 2017) "Become Contemporary. Experience of the Renewal of Florentine Cultural Life" is the title of the meeting that will be held at the Art House of Scutari on September 16 at 7PM. Tommaso Sacchi, curator and cultural promoter will be the protagonist of the meeting. The event is organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Tirana and Art House as part of the Art Project School 2017 project, which has as its main objective to create opportunities for meeting and dialogue between the personalities of Italian culture and art with the Albanian community and its artistic and cultural scene. Tommaso Sacchi, born in Milan in 1983, lives and works between Milan and Florence. Curator, teacher, consultant and organizer in the field of creativity and artistic production, he’s currently head of the Cultural Secretariat of the City of Florence. In this way, Estate Fiorentina is one of the largest festivals in the country with special attention to contemporary art, public art installations and performing arts productions throughout the city. He is the founder, curator and jury member of CROSS, International Performing Arts Award. (Red)


ABOUT / TOMMASO SACCHI

Tommaso Sacchi is a professor at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Como and the European Institute of Design in Florence. He has been curating the "Stage as a Social Platform" program for the 21st Triennial in Milan. He has worked in important Italian and foreign cultural institutions. He is one of the founders of The Tomorrow (thetomorrow.net) editorial project. He has been involved in various communication campaigns, including the opening of Bosco Verticale in Milan for Stefano Boeri Architetti.
