Today, in the heart of the Balkans, is the different European countries. 12, from 18and 10young people, aged between 700 Claudio Gubitosi, the director of the Giffoni Experience, will be at the inauguration ceremony of the Festival, which will be held in Skopje until 23 October. "Since 2013, in collaboration with the National Agency for Macedonian Cinema, directed by Gorjan Tozija with the support of the respective Ministries of Culture, we are passionately bringing this event to realisation - explains Gubitosi - my good wishes go to Darko Basheski, director of Giffoni Macedonia. A sincere acknowledgment also goes to the Minister of Culture, Robert Alagjozovski, who immediately realised the importance of our mission. A heartfelt thank you to the Italian Ambassador in Skopje, Carlo Romeo, for the precious cooperation and attention. I am happy that Giffoni Macedonia 2017 is part of the Week of Italian Language in the World, whose theme this year is cinema. Commitment, love and respect for a festival that continues to grow in the heart of the Balkans has given me confirmation of how much Macedonia is central to our work". The event, whose theme is inspired by the 47th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival, "Into the magic of cinema", will welcome participants from the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, as well as children from far away nations such as Georgia and Azerbaijan.
