(8 dicembre 2017) The Italian Ambassador in Baku, Azerbaijan, Augusto Massari welcomed the President of Azerbaijan HE Ilham Aliyev and the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva on December 6th at the Italian stand at the Bakutel fair, . The presidential couple was accompanied by the Minister of Communications, High Technology, and Transport, Ramin Guruzade. The Italy stand at the 2017 edition of Bakutel - according to a statement from the Italian Embassy in Baku - was set up by the Italian-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, thanks to the coordination the president of the Chamber, Manuela Traldi. The participation of Thales-Alenia, the largest European institution in the sector of satellites, also included the participation of the Leonardo group. Ambassador Massari and Avvocato Traldi spoke with the President and Vice President of Azerbaijan about possible collaborations in the communications sector between Italy and Azerbaijan. Italy is also present in Bakutel with the participation of the Digital Italy Agency, represented by Dr. Enzo Le Fevre, who traveled to Azerbaijan for the occasion. During his stay in Baku, the delegate Italia Digitale will hold a series of meetings organised by the Ministry of Communications, High Technology, and Transport. (red)
