Saipem Gets additional works in Angola

(9colonne) Saipem has signed the contract with Eni Angola SpA. on the development of the West Hub Development project in Angola, which incorporates the work orders previously assigned and communicated in 2016 and 2017, and adds the scope of work related to the development of the Vandumbu field within Block 15 / 06. The additional activities, which will be carried out by the E & C Offshore division, provide for the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation necessary for the development of the Vandumbu submarine field in deep water from 1300 to 1500 metres. The project as a whole includes the construction of two production pipelines in special material, the laying of umbilical cables and service lines of varying diameters (Subsea, Umbilicals, Risers & Flowlines - SURF). In addition to this contract, Saipem has been awarded a new contract in the Gulf of Mexico relating to the transport and installation of the CA-KU-A1 compression platform on behalf of Dragados Offshore de Mexico SA de CV (DOMSA). The activities will be carried out by the semi-submersible ship Saipem 7000.
