Alessio Bondì, the Sicilian singer-songwriter, begins his musical tour today. He announced the first dates that will bring his "Sfardo" throughout Europe. His first destination will be Hamburg followed by Berlin, Brussels, Zamora, and Madrid. The tour follows the release in 10 countries (Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the UK) of his debut album titled "Sfardo", also accompanied by the video of "Di cu sì". The lyrics contained in his album have been translated into 5 languages (English, French, Spanish, German, and Portuguese) and the special edition vinyl containing all of the translations, will be released for the occasion. Alessio Bondì is a singer-songwriter from Palermo class ' 88 and a finalist of the 2015 Tenco Award thanks to his album "Sfardo" released in 2016. His song-writing has folk roots and combines contemporary rhythms with exotic sounds of his native dialect of Palermo. Among the most recurring themes in his work are those of childhood and the distant land. The artist has also received national awards such as the De André Award and the Siae Plaque at the Andrea Parodi Award.
