Journey into the world of masks in Tirana. As stated on the website of the Italian Institute of Culture, on Tuesday, February 6th from 19:00 to 20:30, the Experimental Theater "Kujtim Spahivogli" will host the show "Il mestier comico" (The Comedian's Profession) of the theater company Pantakin, under the direction of Michele Modesto Casarin. The protagonists of the performance are two comedians and a charlatan, who make up the absurd company with the bizarre name "I senza Dimora" (Those without dwelling). They will be the ones who will revive one of the most creative and important moments of the Italian theater, La Commedia dell'Arte. Between historical notes, songs, and jokes, the public will be accompanied in the mysterious and romantic world of masks, full of characters like Alichino, Dorotea, Captain Spingarda, and many others. The show was produced for the 2017 Carnival of Venice "Creatum", in collaboration with the CNA (National Confederation of Venetian Artisanry).
