A delegation from the South African province of Gauteng visited Turin to study the Piedmont healthcare system and healthcare projects carried out by the Region as the new Health Park. The delegates, mostly members of the local parliament, met with Regional Health Advisor Antonio Saitta at the Piedmont Regional Office in Piazza Castello. The delegation then visited the Health Park with the leaders of the healthcare company. "It was a pleasure for me to meet Gauteng's representatives and answer their timely questions to better understand the way our healthcare system functions" stated Saitta. I illustrated how Piedmont is considered to be one of the best Italian regions in terms of the quality of health care, but also as the progressive aging of the population compels to face new challenges in the future and to respond more adequately to health needs ".
