A new event in the<br>“l’autore e l’editor

(23 may 2018) As part of the new edition of the E3, "L'autore e l'editor" (Author and Editor) the Italian Institute of Culture in Madrid organised an event with the Italian writer Tiziano Scarpa and Paola Gallo, Director for Italian fiction at Einaudi fiction, at 20:00. Daniele Giglioli, critic and professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Bergamo, will also intervene. The lecture will be held in Italian with simultaneous translation. Tiziano Scarpa (Venice, 16 May 1963) is an Italian novelist, playwright, and poet. His novel, "Stabat Mater" won the 2009 Strega Prize and the 2009 Super Mondello Prize. He focuses on being a scenic reader of his works and of others in theatre and beyond. Among his other works are "L'inseguitore" (Feltrinelli 2008), "Le cose fondamentali" (Einaudi 2010 and 2012, and "L'infinito" (Einaudi 2011). Paola Gallo was born in Turin. She has always worked at Einaudi, where she worked in paperbacks and foreign fiction, finally landing in the Italian fiction department, which she has been directing for more than ten years. She has translated several books from French, including novels by Carrère, Modiano, and Raymond Queneau. Daniele Giglioli, professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Bergamo, collaborates with "Il Corriere della Sera".
