(24 may 2018) On Monday, May 28th at 19:00 at the Italian Institute of Culture in Hamburg, author Francesca Manfredi, one of the most significant voices in the Italian literary scene, will present - in conversation with Francesca Bravi - her collection of short stories entitled "A good place where stay ". Manfredi was awarded the Campiello Opera Prima award and was invited as an Italian representative to the Kiel European Festival of the First Novel. The protagonists of her short stories are ordinary people who lead seemingly ordinary lives: however, behind this presumed normality, there is a hidden world of secrets, restlessness, and ambiguity.
