(24 may 2018) In the context of the "Fare Cinema" (Making Cinema) - First Week of Italian Cinema in the World (May 21-27), the Italian Institute of Culture of Lima presents the conference "Il modello produttivo italiano" (The Italian Production Model) by Cecilia Valmarana. The first edition of "Fare Cinema" is dedicated to the multiple professions within cinema, all those professionals that make up the complex machine of film production and that, in front of or behind the camera, contribute to the success of cinema in Italy and abroad. 100 film personalities in 100 different cities will talk about Italian cinema - made of passion, creativity, and great technical skills - during conferences, encounters with the public, seminars, stories, and daily work experiences. Cecilia Valmarana, Deputy Director of Rai Gold and manager of the Rai Movie Channel, has collaborated on the production of numerous films directed by Losey, Bellocchio, Monicelli, Moretti, Garrone, Ozpetek, and Olmi and, on this occasion, will host a focused conference on the dynamics of the current model of Italian film production, outlining its main characteristics and particularities. The conference (in Italian with simultaneous translation) will take place today at 19:30 in the "Pier Paolo Pasolini" Auditorium of the IIC.
