(18 june 2018) The role of universities and cultural diplomacy in the management of international crises and cooperation will be at the centre of the seminar on June 20th at the University of Siena, organised with the European Association of International Studies-AESI. In the main auditorium of the University , experts, technics, representatives of institutions, and teachers will meet to discuss one of the fundamental challenges of the twenty-first century: to ensure international peace and to promote development in light of the new world order. "University and Diplomacy Cooperation in the International Crises" is the title of the seminar, starting at 10:00 with the rector of the University of Siena, Francesco Frati's greetings; Giorgio Marrapodi, Director General for Cooperation and Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' introductory statement; Vito Borrelli, Deputy Director of the Representation of the European Commission in Italy; and Massimo Maria Caneva, President of AESI.
