(1 August 2018) The exhibition "LUZ NEGRA Photography and Theatre in Italy (1946-2018)" curated by Cosimo Chiarelli and Paulo Ribeiro Baptista will be open until September 10th at the National Museum of Theatre and Dance in Lisbon, organized by museum with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture. The curator of the exhibition is Cosimo Chiarelli, photography historian and director of the Center for Stage Photography of San Miniato (Pisa) and by Paulo Ribeiro Baptista, conservator of the National Museum of Theatre and Dance photographic collections. This is the first of a series of exhibitions dedicated to the production of the major European theatre and dance photography centres. In "LUZ NEGRA", some of the most significant stage photographers are presented from the second half of the 20th century to the present day will be showcased in Portugal for the first time in Portugal.
