(29 January 2019) The Italian Cultural Institute of Mexico City has organised a conference entitled "Poetry and music in Italian singer-songwriters: a memory of Fabrizio De André" tomorrow, January 30, starting at 19:00. The event will be led by Professor Massimo Leone, Professor of semiotics, semiotics of culture and semiotics of the image at the Department of Philosophy and Education Sciences of the University of Turin, vice-director for Research in the same Department, and part time in semiotics at the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of the University of Shanghai, China. The conference will touch the poetic and musical universe of De André, trying to decipher its precise creative vein and, twenty years after his passing, we will return to the words, sounds, but also to the existential message of one of the greatest Italian singer-songwriters ever.
