There will be 210 appointments and 68 fashion shows during the next Milan Fashion Week, which will be held from September 20th to September 26th. At this important event, the Italian fashion industry shows off its strong sales: in 2022, it reached its highest level in the last 20 years, with a 25% increase in the first half of the year. The return of brands like Salvatore Ferragamo, Boss, Antonio Marras, Vivetta; but also, Anteprima, and Moncler in honor of their 30th and 70th anniversaries, respectively, is one of the most exciting things about this year's edition. As well as the Bally's debut on the catwalk, the Stella Jean / WAMI project and the English designer Matty Bovan, supported by Dolce & Gabbana. The city of Milan will be involved thanks to events such as the Diesel parade, which will be open to the public thanks to online registration, and the Preview parade that will take place at the Arena Civica in Parco Sempione. Space will be given to the Benetton fashion show, which will mark the debut of Andrea Incontri's creative direction. Finally, the Sustainable Fashion Awards will be held at the Teatro alla Scala on the evening of September 25 in collaboration with the Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI) of the United Nations. Rossy De Palma will host the event during its fifth edition. Milan Fashion Week will also be broadcast live on social media platforms, including TikTok, partner of the national chamber of Italian fashion.
