The war against abusive taxi drivers and chauffeured cars continues at Fiumicino airport. Yesterday at the international airport ''Leonardo Da Vinci'', the Carabinieri of Compagnia Aeroporti di Roma sanctioned a driver who was abusively carrying out the rental service with a driver for the transport of people. The man was surprised while illegally procuring customers among the passengers in transit inside ''Terminal 3 - Arrivals”. The Carabinieri identified him and administratively sanctioned him for an amount of 2,064 euros. From 1st January 2022 to date, the Carabinieri have sanctioned 100 people for a total of 204,422 euros. In particular, 97 of these were fined for improper customer procurement, two for irregular customer picking and one for violation of the rules governing taxi or taxi services.
