More than 12 thousand operators in the sector of origin mark for an export value of about 68 million euros, about 660 thousand hectares of agricultural area used, of which more than 34% certified organic: the "company" of food production with certified denomination grows and becomes increasingly sustainable. The universe of DOP, PGI, organic products, Mountain Product, Agriquality and PAT (traditional agri-food production) is to be at the center of the next edition of BuyFood Toscana 2022, the international showcase promoted by the Tuscany Region to facilitate the meeting between companies producing excellence in the territory and foreign importers. More than 70 Tuscan companies in this fourth edition of the BtoB event, scheduled for October 11 and 12 at Palazzo degli Affari in Florence. Two days of events and tastings dedicated to about fifty buyers from 22 countries, including the most representative markets for Made in Tuscany: Europe, North America, Colombia and Chile. Among the most numerous delegations are Scandinavia, the UK, France, the USA and Canada, which showed great interest, despite the period of strong uncertainty due to the cost of raw materials and energy.
