Due to the energy crisis and rising costs, nearly one in five (19%) Italians have already given up cooking to save money, cooking less and shifting to meals that do not require preparing. This is according to a survey on the website www.coldiretti.it regarding the impact of expensive energy in the kitchens of the country, where an additional 53% have adopted measures to combine the desire to continue bringing cooked food to the table with the need to reduce the use of stoves, contributing to the energy-saving campaign launched by the government with the decree of Minister Cingolani. Only 27% of citizens believe they have not altered their kitchen consumption habits.
