It is November 1, 1512: for the first time, the "general public" has the opportunity to admire Michelangelo's frescoes on the Sistine Chapel, where the Italian master depicted the Stories of Genesis, from Creation to the Fall of man, the Flood and the subsequent rebirth of humanity with Noah's family. For the first time, the public can admire the monumental scene of the creation of Adam in the power of God's gesture with outstretched arms. The work is divided into 9 panels, on which the Florentine artist has worked for 4 years. Michelangelo, however, will still return to work under these times. In 1533 Pope Clement VII de’ Medici asked him to modify the decoration again, on the wall of the altar. There the artist will work, from 1536 to 1541, on the Last Judgment, one of the embodiment of art of all time.
