Seventeen renowned personalities in the world of Italian design joined the initiative "Il Primo Camerino" around a year ago. It was a competition to adapt and breathe new life into the dressing rooms of Milan's renowned Teatro degli Arcimboldi. During the recently finished Milan Design Week, the design studios competed with one another by producing small masterpieces of interior design, which the public could then visit and vote on. The winning firm was Calvi Ceschia Viganò Associati, whose "Diorama" dressing room won the commission to redesign "Il Primo Camerino." Approximately 40 square meters that have hosted and will continue to host the biggest names in national and international show business, including Roberto Bolle, Sylvie Guillem, Ludovico Einaudi, Paolo Conte, Bob Dylan, the Dalai Lama, Sting, Sir Elton John, Liza Minelli, Burt Bucharach, and many others.
