Ferragamo anticipates the arrival in store of the first collection created by the new creative director Maximilian Davis but only for a limited period. Starting from last weekend and until November 30, it is possible to purchase a selection of garments and accessories for spring/summer 2023; the proposals, presented during the last edition of Milano Moda Donna, mark the debut of Davis. The preview is available within the brand's e-commerce and in 17 stores around the world: London Old Bond Street, Paris Avenue Montaigne, Milan woman and man, Dubai Mall, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, New York Fifth Avenue, Beverly Hills, Miami, Costa Mesa and São Paulo. "I wanted to pay tribute at the beginning of Salvatore's journey – Davis explains illustrating the collection – bringing the culture of a new Hollywood to the center of the scene, with its sensuality and simplicity, its sunsets and its dawns. It is a collection linked to Ferragamo, Hollywood, the ocean, but also to my person, to my DNA. I wanted to show this perspective of mine, filtered through the Ferragamo lens ". The preview includes some ready-to-wear proposals that pay tribute to the creations of the label for Marilyn Monroe but also to the fetishism in tailored trousers with discreet bondage-style details up to the femininity of the second-skin suede.
