Today in the Marche, at 7.07, an earthquake was recorded. According to the estimates of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, it reached a magnitude of 5.5. For now, no significant damage or injuries have been reported. There are, however, dozens of visits to the Emergency Rooms in Ancona for people injured in moments of fibrillation, agitation and fear following the tremor. Checks are currently underway by the fire brigade on the buildings and rail traffic is suspended as a precaution on the Adriatic line due to the suspicion that the tracks are damaged. The epicenter was located on the Pesaro coast at a depth of 8 kilometers, and led to a shock felt throughout central Italy, accompanied by other minor seismic phenomena (the strongest of which touched 4 magnitude). For this reason, the tsunami risk is also being monitored in Senigallia.
