Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Ferrari won the second consecutive world title in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The result was obtained at the end of the 8 Hours of Bahrain, won by teammates Miguel Molina and Antonio Fuoco, at the wheel of the 52nd Ferrari of AF Corse. The last season for the cars of the LMGTE Pro class in the World Endurance Championship closes in the best way for the Prancing Horse who, with the 488 GTE, obtained 4 Constructors’ world titles (2016, 2017, 2021 and 2022) and 3 Drivers’ with James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi (2017, 2021 and 2022). For Ferrari, this is the 16th world title in the history of endurance racing, obtained in the last race that saw the protagonist 488 GTE in the main class for the GranTurismo cars derived from the series.
