The Ministry of Economy and Finance's report on tax and social security income is good news. Between January and September 2022, tax and social security income grew by about 54 billion euros (54,011 million euros), or 10.4%, compared to the same period in 2021. The number comes from the monthly Report made by the Department of Finance and the Department of the General Accounting of the State. It considers the positive change in tax revenues of 12.1% (+41,800 million euros) and the growth in cash terms of contribution revenues of 7.0% (+12,211 million euros). Tax collection in the State budget increased (+37,086 million euros, +10.9%) compared to the same time previous year; improvements were similarly favorable for receipts from assessment and control operations (+3,207 million euros, +58.5%) and revenue from Regions and Municipalities (+4,624 million euros, +12.7%). Contribution payments are also a sign of how well the job market is doing.
