There are already 760 exhibitors (40% from abroad) confirmed at the 103rd edition of Pitti Uomo, scheduled from January 10 to 13 in Fortezza da Basso, in Florence. The four days dedicated to menswear and lifestyle will host the protagonists of international men's fashion. Pitti Uomo, however, extends its boundaries: the return of I Go Out, the section dedicated to the world of outdoor research clothing, goes in this direction. The Fantastic Classic, Male Future, Dynamic Attitude, Superstyling and the S|Style area, which are focused on eco-responsible fashion, are enriched with new protagonists, with two absolute innovations: the Sign and PittiPets special areas. The Italian Government and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) support Pitti Uomo and all editions of the salons, while Unicredit is the main partner. All the brands present in Fortezza da Basso will also be on the Pitti Connect digital platform active from December 6. The background to Pitti Uomo 103 is the performance data of Italian men's fashion, which in the first seven months of 2022 showed a positive performance on foreign markets, as had already happened during 2021. As indicated by the ISTAT data processed by Confindustria Moda, exports for the period January-July 2022 showed an increase of 6%, for a total of about 4.1 billion euros, while imports recorded a double-digit jump, +28.6%, passing to 3.3 billion euros.
