"We must not leave Italians abroad behind. They should not lose their cultural heritage and, above all, their language. I believe that our schools abroad must be increasingly open to non-Italian young people to let them discover our culture and foster a spirit of peace". These were the words of Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the closing event of the Italian Education in the World Days at the International Conference Room at the Farnesina. "Italy is a great country that boasts a heritage and cultural knowledge that everyone would like to have. “We have a duty”, it was added yesterday by the minister, “to pass on this knowledge and let it be the heritage of humanity".
