ITA Airways, the new Italian flag carrier, participates in the World Week of Italian Cuisine, the event that takes place in the United States from November 14 to 20, 2022. "Conviviality, Sustainability and Innovation: the ingredients of Italian cuisine for the Health of people and the Protection of the Planet": this is the theme of the VII edition of the exhibition which, with more than 8,000 events in 100 countries in the past six editions, is among the main initiatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the promotion of Made in Italy, with particular attention to the agri-food sector. As part of the extensive program, ITA Airways has joined two initiatives in Washington: the first event is a focus on Italian haute cuisine that took place last night at the splendid setting of Villa Firenze, residence of the Mariangela Zappia, Ambassador of Italy to the USA; the second event to be held tonight at the Embassy of Italy with starred Chef Roberto Cerea is a culinary journey with the highest quality food products. Each course will be prepared with products from local markets or well-known Italian companies committed to sustainability.
