A truly record season, which also broke the previous one of 2019, the year of the pre-pandemic tourist boom. A "long" summer (May-October) to remember for the tourism of Trentino that this year has centered the results from this phenomenon, with almost 3 million certified arrivals (precisely 2,834,940) and even 11.5 million (11,498,303) of certified presences. It means respectively 165,844 arrivals (+6%) and 507,000 more (+5%) than in 2019, and +29% and +20% than back in 2015. The data have been processed by Trentino Marketing and provided by Ispat, the Institute of Statistics of the Autonomous Province of Trento. Looking at the provenance, both the presence of international guests increased (from 4,449,384 in 2019 to 4,540,698 in 2022) and that of Italian guests (from 6,541,737 to 6,957,605 in the same interval), evidence of a widespread appreciation for Trentino destinations.
