The bones of 18-year-old Pakistani Saman Abbas, who went missing and was slain in Novellara between the night of April 30 and May 1, 2021, have been excavated. The girl's corpse was discovered at a farmhouse around 500 meters from her family's home. On November 18, operations started. Now, the remains must be examined in Milan. In the meanwhile, the Reggio Emilia Public Prosecutor's Office has just started a second case on the murder of Saman, who was murdered by her own family for refusing an arranged marriage. At the time, this is a procedure against unknown individuals in which any components against other people who may be engaged in the matter will converge. Currently, only the girl's parents, Shabbar Abbas and Nazia Shaheen (the first detained, the second still at large), her uncle Danish Hasnaine, and her cousins Ikram Ijaz and Nomanulhaq Nomanulhaq are involved in the inquiry. The uncle collaborated with the magistrates by revealing the location of the body's concealment, and it is not excluded that this same "availability" may lead him to reveal the name of another accomplice or, in any case, of other people involved directly in the murder, in the concealment of the corpse, or in the initial escape of the five suspects. During the dig, scientists discovered a cigarette end and bottles from which they want to obtain DNA.
