Better recuperation and athletic performance, overall psycho-physical well-being, and a visible decrease in body weight. A customized organic and sustainable diet pre- and post-workout improves sports performance and well-being. It may seem straightforward, but many people, even those who play sports on a daily basis, incorrectly believe that physical exercise does not go hand in hand with leading a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. The distinction is made by paying attention to food quality and implementing tailored nutrition regimens in sports. This is the conclusion of the research "Organic nutrition, sports performance, and lifestyles" undertaken by LUISS Sport Lab, a research center on the development and improvement of individual performance that works in the sports area via scientific research. The study was conducted in partnership with Probios. The tests and trials were done on 15 athletes from the the AS LUISS Volleyball Team who were between the ages of 18 and 29. The players in the Experimental Group (EG) followed a nutrition plan based on organic foods for 4 weeks. They did this by following a set of nutritional guidelines from the researchers. The control group, however, profited from individualized dietary patterns based on their distinct individual habits and traits, while maintaining their typical eating habits.
