The desire to renovate and improve one's home is fueled by energy inefficiency. Almost 4 out of 10 Italians (37%) in the last 12 months have started improvement and/or renovation of a home, whether main or secondary. 27% of them are tenants. In the North-West, 37% of respondents say they have started work; in the North-East, they are 36%. The percentage is higher in the Centre (40%), while in the South it is 33%. This is what emerges from a research presented yesterday by the prestigious consulting company Nomisma, entitled "Tax bonuses and building redevelopment".
