"Lucanus" is a savory gourmet panettone that is a contender to become the new ambassador of Basilicata’s flavors at the table. More specifically, “Lucanus” is the product of a blend of raw ingredients of the greatest quality owing to the collaborations of five different businesses, all of which came about because of a concept conceived by manager Giuseppe Ferrara and executed with commitment and love by chef Andrea Gnoni, who, after gaining experience in London, wanted to return to his home Italy. Many local businesses work together to provide the "Lucanus" with their goods, all within a zero-kilometer radius. These include the Tricarico Salumi by Antonio Carbone (slowfood presidium), the FraTruffle by Spera Francesco, the Salumificio Metapontino, and the Caseificio La Vanga.
