A 40-day optional military duty that will provide boys and girls with credits for school or university courses as well as points in the rankings of public contests. This is the idea in mind of Senate President Ignazio La Russa, who spoke yesterday in Milan at the Alpini ceremonies commemorating the Fallen Soldiers. "A proposal has been drafted to extend the route to 40 days. "I will not deliver it because I cannot as Senate President, but a group of senators will," La Russa revealed, before announcing "a series of incentives in response to this involvement".
