The Dolce&Gabbana brand embarks on a new path towards sustainability, with a well-designed roadmap to write a new chapter by 2025, and with the intermediate objective of publishing the first sustainability report in 2024. It is not only about the environment but also social impact, respect and protection of productive, cultural and territorial districts, as well as the training of the 5,000 people who work for the maison. It is a crucial moment for the group founded 37 years ago in Legnano by the designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, and led by the CEO Alfonso Dolce, brother of Domenico, who keeps the ranks of this new plot. Yesterday, in fact, the plan was announced that will push the company towards new goals such as the reduction of 50% of virgin plastic on disposable packaging, the use of more than 25% of key raw materials with less impact on the environment and the completion of the training of 100% of employees on sustainability.
