Institutions and Ferrovie dello Stato work together to solve the serious problem of missing people. A memorandum of agreement was signed yesterday between the prefect Antonino Bella, extraordinary commissioner of the Government for missing people, and the FS Italiane Group, represented by General Roberto Massi, Chief Security & Risk Officer, to promote efforts to spread and prevent the problem of missing people. The locations around stations and railway lines are crucial for notifying, seeking, and identifying anyone whose disappearance has been reported. A social phenomenon that keeps growing and often involves people who are in a fragile state. The protocol mandates the development of communication campaigns to educate the public about the phenomena and the promotion and organizing of information events like seminars, conferences, and workshops to disseminate information about the actions undertaken as a result of the agreement. As part of the protocol, information and photos of missing people will be shared on the websites of the institutions and through the FS Group. Useful information will also be shared in places where there are more people, so that missing people will get more attention and can be found more easily.
