The recent phenomena related to hydrogeological risk do not exhaust the risk map of our country. According to the data of CRESME, the market research and services center for those working in the world of construction, 40% of the national territory, in which there are about 22 million citizens, is at high seismic risk. The numbers show that the care of the territory must be a priority issue on the country's political agenda. Franco Fietta, President of the Fondazione INARCASSA (the National Social Security Fund and Support for Engineers and Architects Freelancers), declares: "To secure the building and housing assets of citizens, it is first necessary that future building bonuses become structural measures that can only be used after a mandatory seismic and static assessment of the property". Fietta then added: "This simple regulatory provision could: prevent spending public or private money on eco-sustainable or similar interventions on properties at risk of collapse; push the citizen to greater awareness about the state of health of their home and allow a programming of interventions free from speculation of any kind”.
