After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the concerts return to the most beautiful basilicas of Rome. From 29 December to 2 January, with free admission to all, there will be live performances of some youth groups from different American high schools, which will offer various repertoires of classical, symphonic and choral music, in historical and evocative religious cult settings. It starts at 5 pm on Thursday December 29 with St. Paul's Episcopal School Chorale di Mobile (Alabama): under the musical direction of Dr. Harold J. Powell Sr., a group of voices will perform at the Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican. At the same time (same day, same time), at the Basilica of Sant'Andrea della Valle, the choir and the Concert Band of the Newark Charter High School of Delaware, respectively directed by Mrs. Kelly Kline and Mrs. Samantha DeLuca, will give life to a double performance. On December 30, at 19, at the church Santa Maria in Portico Campitelli, the choir of St. Paul's Episcopal School will return; it will be anticipated, in the first part of the concert, by the orchestral formation of the school directed by Mr. Tim Huber. These last two formations will also perform on the first day of the year in the churches of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, at 11.15, and Santa Maria in Montesanto, at 12.15. The grand finale will be held at the Pantheon on January 2 at 16.00 with St. Paul's Episcopal School Chorale.
