There are still a few weeks left to participate in the new call for "the translation and dissemination of the Italian book and the reading abroad of Italian authors" launched by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Center for Book and Reading (CEPELL) and with the deadline on January 30. The call is addressed to Italian publishers interested in promoting the translation of books and reading abroad by Italian authors, also through or in collaboration with Italian schools and the network of Italian Institutes of Culture and their libraries, in order to disseminate Italian works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry and literature for children, to enhance Italian culture internationally. All types of works are allowed (with the exception of school publishing), which have already been published in Italian at the time of the announcement. Translations will be admitted to all foreign languages, with priority for works translated into English, French, Spanish and German.
