The Emilian company Fagioli, among the world leaders in engineering and large movements, has acquired, through the American subsidiary Fagioli Inc., a contract worth more than 10 million dollars for the lifting of modules and trusses (up to a thousand tons of weight each) as part of the construction of a new semiconductor plant in Ohio (United States). Once completed, the plant will be one of the world's largest semiconductor factories. Work is expected to commence in 2023 and be completed in 2024. In the lifting operations, Fagioli will use the LR 13000, the largest crawler crane in the world with a maximum lifting capacity of 3,000 tons and an arm of 126 meters. Fagioli is the only company in Italy and among the few in the world to have such machinery in its fleet. The order acquired in the United States strengthens the positioning of Fagioli in the civil infrastructure market segment, where the Emilian company, in 2022, acquired works for about 30 million euros and, in 2023, aims to grow by a further 15 percent.
