The sport industry is worth 13 billion euros. This is what emerges from an analysis conducted by Assosport - National Association among sporting goods manufacturers (over 130 companies in Italy, 300 brands and 12,000 employees) and which was presented today during the annual General Assembly held in Verona at the headquarters of the Eataly chain. The sports system industry therefore recorded an increase of more than 15% compared to 2020, a year that closed in sharp decline as a result of the pandemic. According to the Cerved group's forecasts, the supply chain should continue to grow at a rate higher than the national benchmark (4.77% against 3.06%). It is an encouraging and yet constantly evolving context due to the unpredictable dynamics that our society is going through and that hides within it diametrically opposite performances depending on the sector concerned.
