The last time this happened was in 2007, when Kimi Raikkonen won the Formula 1 drivers' championship on the final lap of the Brazilian Grand Prix. Then there was three decades little satisfaction. It is logical, almost obvious, that at Ferrari the goal is only one: to bring home the world title again. In this spirit, the new SF-23 single-seater, which still bears the brand of the old team principal Mattia Binotto, was unveiled today in Maranello. It will be up to the new team boss, Frederic Vasseur, to restore the Prancing Horse to its former glory and compel the two drivers, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, to perform to their full potential. They rode the new SF-23 around the track to show off its capabilities and get feedback from the public. Obviously, the official tests will provide a clear picture of the Maranello car's performance.
