As part of the 2023 promotional activity in support of the fashion sector, ICE, the agency for the promotion and the internationalization of Italian companies has organized the first edition of the Pop-up Italia at the "Cabana Miami Beach", the most important trade show of the beachwear sector to be held in Miami during the period July 8-10, 2023. The Miami Swim Week is the main event in the United States for beachwear and resortwear companies. Within the Swim Week, "Cabana" is the most important event that connects the best brands with retailers in Miami and New York. The categories concerned for women's and men's fashion are: beachwear, resortwear, prêt-à-porter, beach fashion jewelry, bags and accessories, footwear (no sneakers). The ICE initiative is in collaboration with Confindustria and Confindustria Moda, with the support of Confartigianato, and intends to enhance the presence of Italian companies on the US market in the context of local events. The event in Miami follows a first Italian participation in the LA Market Week.
