It started yesterday at midnight from Harlem's World-Famous Apollo Theater in New York, the twenty-four hours to celebrate 30 years of Laura Pausini's career. Punctual at 12 a.m. split, Italian time (6 p.m. in New York), Harlem's World-Famous Apollo Theater lit up on the first note of "La solitudine," the song that gave Laura success on the Ariston stage thirty years ago and launched a formidable career. The concert continued with her most well-known works, performed in Italian, English, Spanish, and Portuguese, spanning her first decade as a professional musician. "I wanted to celebrate in a different way, reaching out to people who don't usually reach out to me. I looked into many cities around the world, but I wanted to celebrate in 24 hours, and when I realized that I would be able to do so by starting in New York, traveling to Madrid, and landing in Milan, I realized that everything made sense. I began in Italy singing in Italian (Milan), then in Spanish thanks to Spain (Madrid), and finally in America thanks to New York, which allows me to sing in the five languages I learned through my travels and work. In New York, I have always found a multi-ethnic audience, which ideally allows me to greet all of the North and South American states ". The Music Station in Madrid and the Teatro Carcano in Milan will host the next stages of #LAURA30, following Harlem's world-famous Apollo Theater in New York. Two more decades of music to celebrate, with additional special performances.
