Following the widespread participation on September 23, the young activists of Fridays for Future have returned to organize a new global strike against the climate crisis, calling citizens in squares around the world: in Italy alone, over 50 cities have already announced climate demonstrations on March 3. Meanwhile, the climate crisis is rapidly progressing: last year was the hottest ever recorded in Italy since at least 1800, and even now, the drought is raging, threatening to cut off tap water for 3.5 million Italians. "Just as we are crying out for concrete and effective government measures, we want to pour them into building a new culture of sustainability, efficient, and ethical use of resources," claim the young organizers. At the center of the protest there is also the urgency that the profits of large fossil fuel companies, destined for shareholders, go instead to support services in cities and renewable, sustainable and widespread transport".
