Rather than increasing voting intentions, the agenda of the new secretary dem Elly Schlein will result in an exodus of voters and a loss of support for the Democratic Party. The weekly survey conducted by Termometro Politico between February 28 and March 1 reveals that 34.3% of the Italians questioned are convinced of this. Only 19.1% of respondents believe the new secretary will help the party surpass the dismal performance of the past five years. For 25.8% there will be an initial increase, but it will not be so significant. Of different opinion the 16.5% according to which now the Democratic Party no longer attracts because society has changed and therefore will remain approximately at current levels or slightly lower.
