Following last year's success, the Italian Comedy Festival, the Italian event that celebrates comedy around the world, will return to Los Angeles from March 30th to April 1st. The festival will be held at the Hudson Theatre, which will host the awards ceremony and red carpet, and will be produced and organized by the Italian Comedy Club and directed by actor Gianfranco Terrin. Other related events will be organized and held at various cultural centers throughout Los Angeles. This year's edition focuses on social inclusion. In fact, stories will be told on stage and on the big screen that, through the typical styles of comedy, deal with important social issues such as gender inequality. A three-day event that will alternate between live shows, screenings, events, public meetings, and seminars with industry professionals. From Italy to Canada, the United States to Australia, Spain to England, Ukraine to Japan, Peru to Guatemala, and South Korea, 15 finalist projects were chosen from hundreds of applications.
