Vincenzo Esposito has been appointed new CEO of Microsoft Italy. He succeeds Silvia Candiani, who has led the subsidiary since September 2017, and takes on a global role for Microsoft, assuming the position of Vice President of Telecommunications. Both appointments will go into effect on Monday, April 3. Esposito will lead the Italian subsidiary, which, along with a network of over 14,000 partners, is dedicated to accelerating the digital transformation of Italian organizations, both public and private, and promoting long-term growth in the country. A commitment that also translates into an investment plan in technologies and training - Ambizione Italia - that envisions, on the one hand, the development of a new Italian Data Center region to help companies access even easier local and secure cloud services for greater efficiency and productivity, and, on the other, a digital skills training program for students and professionals that has reached 3 million people to date, so that businesses can reap the benefits.
