The 94th National Gathering of Alpini, which will enliven Udine and Friuli-Venezia Giulia from May 11 to 14, has been presented at Udine Castle. It will be the fifth time that the city will host the most important event for the so-called Black Feathers. More than 3,000 people have been working for more than a year to organize the event. "The Alpine Troops, like the entire Italian Army, are present in the various national and international contexts where Italy has decided to deploy its contingents and where Italian departments are involved. On the national territory we are engaged in Operation Strade Sicure, on the international side we are currently deployed in various theaters covering almost all continents," said General Matteo Spreafico, Chief of Staff of the Alpine Troops Command, who was present at the Udine Castle.
